The Kenyan shilling held steady against the dollar on Friday propped up by diaspora remittances and reduced dollar demand from oil and merchandise importers, traders said.
At 0800 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 100.60/80 per dollar, compared with 100.65/85 at Thursday’s close.
