What's up life hackers, Today I learned that Bob Marley gave a credit on "No Woman, No Cry" to one of his friends who ran a soup kitchen, to ensure the royalty checks would keep it open. What a guy! Here's your daily dose of life hacks... In economics and business decision-making, a sunk cost is a cost that has already been incurred and cannot be recovered, but according to reddit user GuyWithDFacts this same principle can be applied to other things in life, especially relationships. His recent post went on to say "Sunk costs is a concept in finance that applies to real life relationships too. You don't need to stay in a bad investment just because you invested in it. Just because you gave a person 5 years in your past, you don't need to give them 5 years of your future. You can walk away anytime." (2415) Turn Your Text To Handwriting One of the most useless things I ever learned in school was cursive writing. It's the one thing I never used and never will, especially after Github user Saurabh Daware coded a text to handwriting program that is free to use. On Saurabhdaware.github.io/text-to-handwriting you can convert anything into a nice clean handwritten letter. (2416) The 2/30 Rule While I love binge watching tv shows as much as anyone, extensive television use could be the cause of some much more serious problems. According to Reader's Digest, a large-scale study of over 9000 people found that those who watched more than two hours of TV a day ate more, while downing more sugary sodas and high-fat, high-cal, processed snack foods than those who watched less. Try following the 2/30 rule: limit TV to two hours a day, and be sure to get in 30 minutes of exercise.
